About me

Hello there! I'm Nina, a UX/UI designer based in Alberta, Canada. I am a graduate of the Digital Media and IT program (with a focus on web design and development) at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Although I am passionate about all things web, I specialize in user experience and interaction design. I am driven by a goal to use my creative and analytical skills to build intuitive digital products that bring value to people's everyday lives. By intersecting creativity and analysis, I can meet user needs and business goals through accessible, engaging, and research-informed design.

I've been lucky enough to work on a wide range of projects in the past, ranging from graphic design and marketing, to designing and developing independent websites. I believe that a well-rounded designer makes for a successful product, especially in an ever-changing technological space. Hence, I like to preserve the student in me by studying visual trends, keeping up with technological changes, and revisiting past projects to improve upon.

Outside of design and development, I'm a big fan of painting 🎨, curating my music playlists 😎, hiking 🥾, and exploring the world with friends 🌎!
